MiniMain12 Gen1
The MiniMain12 was Thomas Barefoot’s original loudspeaker manifesto. A four-way, 1950-watt sealed system with opposing 12-inch Dual-Force™ subwoofers, it delivered true 20 Hz extension with remarkable transient speed and extremely low distortion.
Why it mattered

MicroMain27 Gen1
The MicroMain27 translated the MiniMain philosophy into a more widely adaptable format, putting Barefoot Sound on the map. Retaining its 3.5-way architecture and opposing 10-inch Dual-Force™ subwoofers, it offered immense scale and depth in a footprint better suited for professional control rooms.

MasterStack27
The MasterStack27 paired a MicroMain27 with a dedicated MicroSUBs below, creating a powerful full-range monitoring system. Each stack combined Barefoot’s 3.5-way architecture with opposing 10-inch Dual-Force™ subwoofers for massive low-frequency extension, scale, and precision.
Why it mattered

MicroMain35 Gen1
The MicroMain35 Gen1 delivered speed, articulation, and punch in a more compact sealed enclosure. Featuring 7″ aluminum cone Dual-Force™ subwoofers, a 5″ midrange driver, and a 1″ tweeter, it emphasized transient accuracy and imaging precision while maintaining impressive low-frequency extension.

MEME™ Technology
Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™ (MEME) introduced advanced DSP modeling that lets engineers switch between the voicing characteristics of classic studio monitors. MODES include: Old School, Cube, Hi-Fi, and Flat.

MicroSub45
The MicroSub45 was developed as the dedicated low-frequency partner to the MicroMain45. Equipped with Barefoot’s Dual-Force™ opposing-woofer technology, it allowed engineers to pair two MicroMain45 monitors with two MicroSub45 subwoofers to create the MicroStack45 stereo system. The result was a powerful full-range monitoring solution with greater low-frequency extension, increased output, and expanded headroom.
