Introducing the Linear White Footprint®03

PORTLAND, Ore., USA, June 16, 2026 — Barefoot Sound announces the Linear White Footprint®03, a new finish option for its compact three-way active studio monitor.

The Footprint®03 has become a widely adopted monitoring solution for producers, engineers, and content creators, delivering Barefoot Sound’s established acoustic performance in a compact format. The Linear White edition maintains the same electroacoustic design and specifications as the standard model while introducing a new cabinet finish.

The Linear White finish utilizes an unsaturated polyester resin coating with a high-gloss surface, precision-applied to a dense Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) enclosure. The cabinet employs Barefoot’s stress-assembly construction techniques to enhance stability and damping while minimizing unwanted cabinet resonance.

The Footprint®03 features a tri-amplified three-way design incorporating a 1-inch ring radiator tweeter, a 3.5-inch aluminum cone midrange driver, and a forward-facing 6.5-inch woofer. Its ported enclosure design is engineered to provide extended low-frequency performance while maintaining transient accuracy and overall system control.

At the core of the Footprint®03 is Barefoot’s proprietary SPOC™ (Speaker Processing and Optimization Circuit) technology, which combines an analog crossover architecture with advanced digital signal processing to optimize frequency response, phase alignment, and system performance while minimizing latency.

The monitor also incorporates MEME™ (Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology, allowing users to access multiple monitoring voicings from a single loudspeaker system.

The Linear White Footprint®03 delivers the same performance, functionality, and acoustic characteristics as the standard Footprint03, now available in a high-gloss white finish designed to complement a wide range of studio environments.
