MUNZ began spinning at college parties and quickly escalated into the Chicago club scene. She plays high-energy Trap, Dubstep, G-house and Hip-Hop sets that are guaranteed to make you dance. Incorporating new remixes of classic songs, MUNZ has mastered the artistry, stamina and storytelling that accompanies the ultimate EDM experience.
IN MUNZ’s OWN WORDS
My name is MUNZ. I am a DJ and producer, I’m from Illinois. And I’m also a songwriter and I play the piano. I write all my own music and produce all my own music, mix, master. My songwriting process, I usually start with chords and then I’ll go to either melody and vocals and like lyrics, or then I’ll go to drums and kind of go from there.
The monitors are super important to me. I really like to work with monitors (Footprint02) over headphones. I just feel like I get the whole sound that way. Clear sound no need for a sub, and loudness that’s not going to piss of my neighbors.
